STUDIO ETIQUETTEWe are so excited you are making time to move your body and ask that you respect the group setting by adhering to a few guidelines to keep things fun for ALL: Arrive EARLY: Our doors open 15 minutes prior to class start time, we ask that you arrive early to allow for proper set up as we start class PROMPTLY at the designated time. Please note we do reserve the right to close the doors up to 2 minutes prior to start time to ensure the safety of our members and their belongings and that the start time is respected. SMELL : In an environment where bodies are moving and we may come in close proximity with another member, perfumes can be amplified. We kindly ask you keep this in mind as well as perform regular hygiene practices since our facility cannot offer showers. NO PHONE ZONE: You have committed to some YOU time, that selfie can wait! We believe being fully present in your sweat session creates more community connection as well as a more engaged mind-body experience. This means turning your smart watch notifications off as well as this can be extremely distracting during your class. NOISE MAKING : We are known to like it LOUD in our classes! We encourage socializing both before and after class but ask that you respect the instructor and group setting by refraining from chatter and excessive exertion during the class to promote a respectful and pleasant environment for all. Special consideration for Yoga: the studio is a QUIET space before, during, and after class to maintain traditional practices. PROP CARE: We ask that outdoor shoes do not make their way into our studio in order to maintain the integrity of our equipment and space. We provide baskets to carry your outdoor wear and keep in the safety of our space. DOUBLING UP: We understand you want to maximize your time and membership but ask that you respect the other participants who are also partaking in the class. This means: if you are wanting to excuse yourself during the cool down to attend another class that you place yourself at the BACK of class to minimize disruption. We also ask that if you are looking to clean your yoga mat that you do so in the hall in this instance (again to minimize disruption among the rest of the class). We appreciate your enthusiasm and respect for our community!
